WHAT WE DO

Every workplace tells a story. Teams face shifting priorities, unexpected challenges, and moments that test how people show up. The difference between struggling through and thriving together often comes down to skills you can’t measure on a spreadsheet: adaptability, presence, resilience, and collaboration.

At AF Group, we help employees see themselves as the main character in their professional story. Our workshops are immersive, interactive, and designed to build the soft skills that fuel both performance and culture. When people own their narrative and show up with clarity and confidence, they not only do their best work, they elevate the entire ensemble.

Our approach blends storytelling with leadership development, equipping teams with tools they can use right away. The result is stronger culture, sharper communication, and employees who know how to navigate every plot twist with purpose.

  • Every great story thrives when the main character shows up fully, and the same is true at work. When employees embrace the perspective of the main character, they bring agency, resilience, and presence to their roles. When everyone plays their part like a true ensemble cast, teams thrive with stronger collaboration, trust, and performance.

In this fun, interactive workshop, participants will:

    • Reframe obstacles as plot twists, fueling growth instead of frustration

    • Strengthen presence and communication to increase impact

    • Own their professional narrative with clarity and confidence

    • Collaborate like an ensemble cast, building culture that lasts

The Main Character Workshop blends storytelling with strategy, leaving employees energized, equipped, and ready to take ownership of their work.

  • You don’t need a title to own the room. This fun, interactive workshop is designed exclusively for Black women to embrace presence, authenticity, and main character energy at every stage of their careers.

Through storytelling, Hollywood-inspired archetypes, and learn-by-doing exercises, participants will:

    • Reframe obstacles as plot twists and build resilience.

    • Strengthen presence and communication in any setting.

    • Navigate bias and dynamics with confidence and authenticity.

    • Walk away with a practical toolkit that can be applied immediately.

Owning the Room is a space for Black women to practice, play, and leave equipped to show up fully — no matter their role, level, or industry.

  • Beyond workshops, we partner with organizations from city governments to startups to strengthen leadership and communication. Through tailored coaching and facilitation, we help executives and teams lead with clarity, navigate complexity, and bring people with them.
